Appointments are for face to face contacts not for administrative requirements such as signing forms. If you are unsure ask the receptionists who will be pleased to advise.
You no longer have to queue to check in with the receptionist if you have already booked an appointment on line. There is a self check in screen in the waiting area. Please try it next time you have an appointment.

The practice runs an ‘appointments only’ system. Appointments may be made (or cancelled) at any time by using the on-line booking system (details available from Reception) or by telephone during normal surgery hours. Currently only appointments for the doctors are bookable online, for the nurse please speak to reception. To book online you will require a PIN to access the system. Please ask at reception when you next attend the surgery.
Normally you will be able to be seen within 48 hours, although cases judged urgent by the doctor will be seen on the same day, as will babies whom we regard as special cases.
It would help us if you would tell the receptionist (and the on-line booking system) the nature of the problem so s/he can allocate sufficient time. If you are booking for a problem of a more intimate nature think about whether you prefer to see a male or female member of staff and make this known to reception at the time of booking so they can find an appropriate appointment for you.
Please note that blood tests are only available with the health care assistant on Tuesday (9-12.30), Wednesday (9-10.30) to fit in with the courier delivery schedule to the Royal Free Hospital.
We regularly have patients who do not turn up to booked appointments. Please tell us if you are unable to keep your appointment so we are able to offer it to someone else.
If you are late for an appointment we will endeavour to accommodate you. However at very busy times you may have to rebook for another day.
Please note that there is resident only parking between 11am and 12 noon. For your convenience please avoid these times if you are coming by car, and have consideration for our neighbours when parking.
Additional Appointments with the Barnet Federation HUB Service
In conjunction with other practices we can offer appointments outside the advertised sessions through the Barnet Federation HUB.
They are available from 6.30-8pm on weekdays and 0800 - 2000 on weekends and are located at various practices throughout the borough.
