Travel Vaccinations and Information on Travelling Abroad

Please note: Travel vaccinations in this practice are administered by the Practice Nurse and NOT the Doctors. Please only book appointments with the Practice Nurse for this service.

The practice provides a comprehensive travel vaccination programme for most travel vaccinations required throughout the world and stocks the common vaccines. Vaccinations take up to 2-3 weeks to provide full immunity and we advise you to allow 6-8 weeks for full protection.

In order to plan your personal programme we would be grateful if you would complete and return the downloadable questionnaire and then book an appointment with the Practice Nurse only for the vaccinations in about 1 week’s time.

Charges: Not all vaccines are available on the NHS and depending on your requirements a fee may be payable. We shall provide you with details of this before starting the programme and provide you with a record of the vaccinations given once the programme is completed. You are requested to pay all charges in ADVANCE.

We can also advise on any malaria prophylaxis to be purchased from the chemist directly. A private prescription will be issued if appropriate.

Your comments about this service would be appreciated once your course of vaccinations has been completed. Travel feedback form
