Book telephone appointments only (limited number)
Our appointments system
All our GP appointments start with telephone triage to manage calls more efficiently. Please note that you will be asked some questions about your condition to ensure the appointment is booked with the appropriate person.
If needed a surgery appointment will be booked and we respectfully request you wear a face covering when attending the surgery.
For non urgent appointments and administrative enquiries, patients have advised they find on line enquiries very efficient. The log in page is opposite.
Appointments with the nurse are usually face to face and booked by phone through reception.
Barnet Federation GP's – Extended Access
There is a new service available through Barnet Federated GPs and Nurses offering evening and weekend appointments:
- 18:30 – 20:00 weekdays
- 08:00 – 20:00 weekends and Bank Holidays
If this is more convenient for you please ring 020 3948 6809 to book an appointment.
Home Visits
Please, only ask for a home visit if you are too ill to come to the surgery. Please be reassured that most children, even if they are unwell, can quite safely be brought to the surgery by car.
Please ensure that your request for a home visit reaches the surgery before 10.00 am, unless a genuine emergency arises later.
To help judge the urgency of your call, please describe your symptoms to the receptionist who will inform the doctor.
S/he will phone back to fully assess the situation. Visits are usually made after morning surgery.
Telephone Advice
Sometimes advice on the telephone is sufficient and we are happy to deal with queries by phone. The receptionists will usually log your call and the doctor (or nurse) will return your call after surgery.
Parking
Please note that there is resident only on street parking between 11am and 12 noon. For your convenience please avoid these times if you are coming by car and have consideration for our neighbours when parking.
Late For Your Appointment
If you are more than 10 minutes late for an appointment you will be asked to rebook for another time. This is to avoid inconvenience to other patients.
Cancel an Appointment
It is important that you inform the reception staff if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. If you fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment. Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.
You can also complete our appointment cancellation notification request form. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance. (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can also text to cancel your appointment.
Text Reminder Service
We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.
To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form.
Please remember to update your contact details with us when you change address, telephone numbers and email address.
